Nauticalia Glass Float, Yellow, 4

Encased in netted rope, these hollow floating coloured glass spheres were used to support fishermen's nets and to mark lobster pots for retrieval from the seabed - today they are commonly used as interesting décor. Each is hand-blown to create an authentic bullseye at the cut-off point - no two are identical, and so their measurement of 8 cm is approximate.
