An excellent leader for chironomid fishing or casting indicators. RIO's indicator leaders have a unique design that is ideal for the indicator fly fisher. A powerful butt section and very short taper, easily turns over all manner of indicators, and a long, level tip section allows flies to sink evenly and quickly. The orange butt section is visible enough to be used as an indicator in its own right. Each leader is 10ft long, and available in 5 sizes from 6X (3.4lb) to 2X (10lb).

RIO's light saltwater shock leaders feature a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet that protects the leader from teeth, gill plates and spines, and are ideal for snook, small tarpon and similar problem species. The main body of the leader is made with a stiff nylon that tapers down to 16lb before being tied to the shock tippet. Each leader is 10ft long and available with either 15lb, 25lb or 40lb fluorocarbon shock tippet. Medium-stiff tapered leaders with a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet.
